Entry Requirements: |
(a) (i) have Level 3 or equivalent (Note 1) or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; or (ii) have Grade E or above in two subjects at Advanced Level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Level 3 (Note 3) / Grade C or above in three other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (Note 2), or equivalent; and (b) have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 (Note 3) or above in Chinese Language and English Language in HKDSEE or HKCEE, or equivalent; (c) be mature and reliable, with the ability to work independently; and (d) have computer knowledge of Excel, Words and PowerPoint. |
Note: |
(1) “Attained with Distinction” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade C in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 3 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. “Attained” in Applied Learning subjects (subject to a maximum of two Applied Learning subjects), and Grade E in Other Language subjects in the HKDSEE are accepted as equivalent to Level 2 in the New Senior Secondary subjects in the HKDSEE. (2) The subjects may include Chinese Language and English Language. (3) ‘Grade C’ and ‘Grade E’ in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the HKCEE before 2007 are accepted administratively as comparable to ‘Level 3’ and ‘Level 2’ respectively in Chinese Language and English Language in the 2007 HKCEE and henceforth. (4) Preference will be given to candidates possessing previous experience in estate management or land management. |
Duties: |
Responsible to a wide variety of matters relating to the administration of land in the New Territories: (a) to conduct site visits; (b) to interview parties involved in transactions and disputes; (c) to check/prepare land documents and statistical returns; and (d) to undertake any other duties as may be required by the supervisors. (Note: The work of Contract Land Executive may involve extensive travelling in the New Territories with sometimes long and irregular hours of duty.) |
Terms of Appointment: |
Successful candidates will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for 1 year. |
Fringe Benefits |
(a) A gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of the full contract period with consistently high standard of performance and conduct. Such gratuity, plus any contribution made by the Government to an MPF Scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinances, will be equal to 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period. (b) Rest days, statutory holidays, annual leave, maternity leave or paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted on terms not less favourable than the provisions of the Employment Ordinance. |

Application Forms (G.F. 340 (Rev. 3/2013)) are obtainable from any Public Enquiry Service Centres of District Offices, Home Affairs Department or any Job Centres of the Employment Service Division, Labour Department. The said form can also be downloaded from the Civil Service Bureau’s website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Completed application forms, together with photocopies of relevant certificates and transcripts in support of academic qualifications and proof of documents of working experience, should be sent to the following address of Lands Department on or before the closing date for application. The envelope containing the application should clearly indicate the post being applied for. Online application can also be made through the Civil Service Bureau's website (http://www.csb.gov.hk). Candidates who apply online should submit copies of their certificates and transcripts in support of academic qualifications and proof of documents of working experience within one week after close of application period to the enquiry address below, and the online application number should be quoted on the envelope and the copies of supporting documents. If candidates fail to provide the supporting documents as requested, their applications will not be considered. Candidates who are selected for interview will normally receive an invitation in about six to eight weeks from the closing date for application. Those who are not invited for interview may assume that their applications are unsuccessful. |
